Volunteer Opportunities

  • June 2-7 Weeklong Activities
    1. Role: Each year we celebrate Alberta Senior's Week. This year it is from Monday, June 2nd to Saturday, June 7th. We have a variety of activities planned and could use some help with set up and take down of snacks and refreshments. If you are interested, call us at 780-623-8350, or email heritage2016@hotmail.com
    2. Commitment:
  • Nevada Ticket Sellers Eat to Live
    1. Role: Selling Nevadas on Wednesdays - collecting money and making change. Starting at 11:30am to 1pm. Looking for a seller for each lunch in January (starting the 15th), but if you can help 1 or 2 Wednesdays, let us know.
    2. Commitment: Wednesdays
  • Building Handyman
    1. Role: Help out repairing small things, being available when inspections or work is being done at the centre.
    2. Commitment: Varied Schedule
  • Eat to Live Wednesdays
    1. Role: Clean-up, Set-up and Serve (no table and chairs involved). These volunteers have their meal cost reduced to $10 per person.
    2. Commitment: You can volunteer for 1 Wednesday a month or more.
